The Brangus Society were proudly the fourth largest breed on show at Beef Australia 2018 with 190 exhibits.

Rockhampton local claims champion led steer at Beef 2018

Despite a 76 steer strong competition, it was a purebred Simmental steer that defeated all in a tough battle to win the coveted Ray White Rural Junior Led Steer competition at Beef 2018.

Forest Hills success with feedlot steers

Recently Capella based operation, Forest Hills Stud, operated by Michael and Kellie Silvester were rewarded with the fruits of their breeding programme shown to their greatest benefit.

Kellie and Michael Silvester were "feeling thankful" for the 70mm overnight Saturday at Forest Hills Brangus, Capella. The pair posted this photo of their property, about 65km North East of Emerald, to the Who Got The Rain Facebook page.
